SnoFyre started out as a desire to share my life with a dog in 2001. I had previously had Samoyeds and had a love for the Spitz Breeds. After researching for many months the different requirements for the breeds I decided on a Siberian Husky as they would suit my active lifestyle. Months passed and we still had no dog as it never seemed the right time. In 2003 saw a move to a new location on the Central Coast five days before Xmas. Little did I know what Xmas would bring that year. A friend had come to visit on Xmas day and asked if I could look after a dog he had rescued the week before, while his house was being built. What arrived later in the day was heart wrenching. A 13 month old, emaciated and very frightened female Siberian. Misty  had come into my life. Patience was the keyword with this girl as she built trust with me and I exposed her to new experiences. Going to the beach, local football matches etc, until she realised that not everybody wanted to mistreat her. It was a long road and well worth the time and effort. Always  looking for new experiences for Misty, I started confirmation shows with her in early 2005 and was instantly hooked. Sanji, the Duracell puppy, joined us in September 2005 and the show team was rounded out with the addition of  "the main man" Kobi in October 2005. SnoFyre Kennels will breed only sparingly  when we want something for ourselves and are happy to refer serious enquiries to reputable breeders. All our pups will be raised and socialised in our home and we will only let our puppies go to loving homes where they will be part of the family. Our aim is to produce sound dogs with true Siberian Husky type and excellence of temperament. We have always been lovers of the Spitz breeds and in 2007 a new addition joined us!
